Continuing the Partridge Homes Legacy

For Alfie Partridge, joining Partridge Homes isn’t just the start of a career — it’s the continuation of a family story that began long before he could even walk.

As the son of Charlotte Partridge, Managing Director and Co-Founder of Partridge Homes, and the grandson of Kevin Partridge, who played a key role in the company’s early years, Alfie has grown up surrounded by property, people, and pride.

“I’ve heard all the stories from when I was little — apparently I’d be in my walker, whizzing around the office while Mom and Grandad were working,” Alfie smiles. “Grandad Kevin even stuck foam pipe covers on the corners of every desk so I wouldn’t bump my head as I went flying past. Those are my first memories of Partridge Homes — before I even knew what the word homes meant!”

Those early years watching his mom and grandad pour their hearts into the business shaped how Alfie sees the world today. He’s grown up understanding that property isn’t just about houses — it’s about people, relationships, and community.

Q&A with Alfie Partridge

Q1: Why did you choose an apprenticeship instead of staying at sixth form or college?

Alfie: “I’ve always preferred learning by doing rather than sitting in a classroom. I wanted to start gaining real experience — meeting clients, helping people move, and understanding how property really works.

Because I grew up around the business, I already had a feel for what it involved, and I knew that an apprenticeship would give me the best of both worlds: studying while working in a professional environment.”

Q2: What’s it like working somewhere that’s been part of your life since you were a baby?

Alfie: “It’s really special. I’ve spent my whole life hearing stories about the early days — the long hours, the first sales, and how my mom and grandad worked side by side to build the business.

To now be part of that same company, walking into an office like the one I used to zoom around in as a baby, feels amazing. There’s a real sense of pride in it. It’s not just a job — it’s a chance to carry on something that’s always been part of our family.”

Q3: You’ve joined the Sports & Entertainment Lettings division — what has that experience been like?

Alfie: “Incredible. I’ve always loved football, so joining the Sports & Entertainment team was a perfect fit. I couldn’t believe how quickly things moved — within my first couple of weeks, I helped relocate a Birmingham City FC player, which was surreal.

It showed me how trusted Partridge Homes is when it comes to high-profile relocations. Behind every move there’s so much coordination and detail, and being part of that process so early on has been amazing.”

Q4: What have you learned most from your mom and grandad’s influence?

Alfie: “That people come first. Grandad Kevin always treated everyone — clients, staff, and contractors — like family. My mom’s the same. She’s taught me that property isn’t about houses, it’s about people and relationships.

They’ve both shown me that success isn’t just about numbers — it’s about reputation, trust, and how you make people feel.”

Q5: What do you enjoy most about working in property?

Alfie: “The buzz. Every day is different — one moment you’re doing viewings, the next you’re handing over keys to a tenant or meeting a landlord. When you see how happy people are at the end of it, that’s what makes it all worthwhile.”

Q6: What are your goals for the next few years?

Alfie: “I want to keep learning every part of the business and keep developing within the Sports & Entertainment division. I’d love to eventually lead part of the team and continue helping footballers and high-profile clients relocate across the Midlands.

I’m also signed with Twelve Management as a model, which helps with confidence and presentation — but my main goal is to make Mom and Grandad proud and build on what they started.”

A Family Tradition That Lives On

For Charlotte, seeing her son now working in the same environment she once shared with her father is emotional and rewarding.

“When I see Alfie in the office, chatting to clients, it takes me straight back to those early days with Kevin who we all miss so much,” says Charlotte. “He used to have Alfie flying around in his walker while we were taking calls — who would’ve thought that little boy would one day be part of the team? It’s come full circle, and I couldn’t be prouder.”

The Future of Partridge Homes

From childhood memories with his mom and grandad to helping professional footballers settle into the Midlands, Alfie Partridge’s journey captures what Partridge Homes is all about — family, passion, and pride in helping people find their perfect home.

He may be the youngest member of the team, but the legacy he represents runs deep — and the future of Partridge Homes couldn’t look brighter.
