The story of Partridge Homes began with a shared vision between Kevin Partridge and his daughter-in-law, Charlotte — a vision to create a trusted, family-run estate agency built on honesty, hard work, and genuine care for people.
Together, they wanted to build something different: an agency where clients felt valued, communication was personal, and every home was handled with pride. That belief became the foundation of what Partridge Homes stands for today across Birmingham and Solihull.
Kevin was known for his incredible work ethic and unwavering commitment — often starting his day at 5am and finishing close to 11pm. Even just two days before his passing, he was still working, determined to see the business continue to grow. He often said, “It won’t be me who sees the benefit of this business — it’ll be my children and grandchildren.”
That statement proved true. His dedication and foresight built the strong foundation that continues to support Partridge Homes today. When Alfie joined the business in September 2025, it was an incredibly proud and emotional moment — a reminder that Kevin’s dream of creating something lasting for future generations had come full circle.
As Kevin’s health declined, our Sports & Entertainment Division was beginning to take shape — a development that filled him with quiet pride. A lifelong Birmingham City fan, he was deeply proud to see Partridge Homes starting to work with the club and to witness that side of the business growing. He never got carried away, though — Kevin was the type of man who stayed grounded, knowing how quickly life and business can change.
We would have loved for Kevin to see how far that vision has since come — helping to relocate global superstars such as Wayne Rooney (Football) and Myles Garrett (NFL) into some of the region’s most prestigious homes. Knowing how proud he was of our beginnings, we’re certain he would be smiling down, seeing how far the business has come and how it continues to carry his name with pride.
Kevin and Charlotte worked side by side for many years, each bringing their own strengths to the company. Though they sometimes disagreed in business, they shared immense mutual respect and a deep family bond. Their ability to separate work from family life was a true credit to them both and remains at the core of the business today.
Kevin will always be remembered as one of life’s true gentlemen — hardworking, kind, and thoughtful. He always wanted to do things for others, whether that meant helping a client, supporting a friend, or giving his time to family and staff alike. Everyone who met him said the same: he had time for everyone and always treated people with warmth and respect.
His photograph proudly hangs in our office, and beside it sits his flat Peaky Blinders-style cap — one he often wore during the winter months. It’s a small but powerful reminder of the man who started it all: the father, grandfather, and founder whose spirit continues to inspire everything we do.
